PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate and transfer easy-to-view display screen data even when the display screen size of a client device is sharply narrower than, for example, a VGA size in the server device of a computer system(thin client) in which all applications are operated on a server. SOLUTION: In this server device, a client device 20 sets a virtual display magnification (α) for setting the display screen size (H×W) as, for example, a VGA size, and a server device 10 generates display data G of a drawing area (H<SB>α</SB>×W<SB>α</SB>). When a real display instruction is received from the client device 20, display data G1 of the display screen size (H×W) with a designated display position(x, y) on the drawing area (H<SB>α</SB>×W<SB>α</SB>) as a start point are segmented as they are and transferred and displayed, and when the whole display instruction is received, whole display data on the drawing area (H<SB>α</SB>×W<SB>α</SB>) are scaled(reduced) according to the display screen size(H×W), and transferred and displayed as whole screen display data Gs.
