PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a releasing operation from the rear side while restricting a wrong operation of a lock arm. SOLUTION: This connector 1 is provided with a male housing 10 and a female housing 20 fittable to each other. The female housing 20 is provided with a lock arm 22 forming a cantilever-like shape projecting rearward, and a releasing operation part 24 is formed at the rear end of the lock arm 22. A covering wall 27 is formed at a position covering the releasing operation part 24, and the covering wall 27 is formed by raising upward the rear ends of a pair of outer walls 26 arranged further outside a pair of protective walls 25 arranged on both sides sandwiching the lock arm 22, and cross-linking the upper ends thereof in the widthwise direction. Thereby, the releasing operation from the rear side can be facilitated while restricting a wrong operation of the lock arm 22 by local contact to the releasing operation part 24.
