PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage controller wherein a procedure of a configuration change is not complicated even when a plurality of resources to be reconfigured is present. SOLUTION: A storage device 100 has a plurality of logic storage groups 130, 131 for business, and a logic storage device 500. A configuration change possibility/impossibility management table 110 defines a set of the plurality of resources inside the storage device 100, and stores an attribute of approval/disapproval of the configuration change to the defined set. When a configuration change control means 120 receives configuration change requirement, the configuration change control means 120 decide whether the configuration change of the resource of the configuration change target is permitted or not, in reference to the configuration change possibility/impossibility management table 110.
