PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera device having the structure hardly moving a camera when a shutter button is depressed by enhancing the holding property of the camera so as to prevent occurrence of hand shake. SOLUTION: The shutter button 3 is disposed on the top 1b of a camera main body 1 away from the center of the top 1b. A sub-grip 10 is disposed so as to freely project from the bottom 1d of the camera main body 1 opposite the shutter button 3. For photographing, the sub-grip 10 is projected. In the projected state of the sub-grip 10, the camera main body 1 is gripped with a thumb and a third finger while a fourth finger and a little finger rest on the sub-grip. Thus, the camera main body is stably held. By pressing the shutter button 3 in this condition, the shutter can be stably released, so that the hand shake is hardly caused.
