PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize not only availability but also high efficiency by guidance excavation when sampling soil. SOLUTION: An excavation tool 1 is jacked by the guidance excavation up to a sampling point in the ground from aboveground. A long size cylindrical sampling pipe B is sent from aboveground into an outer tool 6 of the excavation tool 1, and is jacked in the ground on its tip via a penetration port 8a of an outer bit 8 existing on the tip of the outer tool 6. Thus, a large quantity of soil sample columns 52 can be taken in a sampler 44 of the sampling pipe B. Thus, high efficiency can also be realized when sampling the soil. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
