PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition suppressing degradation/deterioration of an organic constituent for a long period of time, even if the coating composition contains an inorganic powder particle as a coating constituent; and having an excellent weather resistance. SOLUTION: The coating composition includes a bonding material containing an organic synthetic resin having a piperidine group, and an inorganic powder particle with a compound having an alkoxysilyl group and a piperidine group coated thereon.
