<p>An apparatus for anaerobic treating wastewater is provided, which comprises a hermetic tank. At least one inlet (9) is disposed on at least one side wall of the tank, and a corresponding outlet (10) is disposed on the side wall opposite to the side wall having the inlet. The height from the outlet (10) to the bottom (3) of the tank is shorter than that from the inlet (9) to the bottom (3) of the tank. At least one overflowing wall (4) is provided on the bottom (3) of the tank to form an overflowing channel between the overflowing wall (4) and the top (1) of the tank. The space of the tank is divided into biological treating areas unattached to one another by the overflowing wall (4). The height from the inlet (9) to the bottom (3) is longer than the height of the overflowing wall (4). And the height from the overflowing wall (4) to the bottom (3) is longer than that from the outlet (10) to the bottom (3). At least one longitudinal partition (5) is disposed in every biological treating area. A flowing channel (13) for wastewater is disposed in the middle of the longitudinal partition (5), and the material supporting biomass is provided on both sides of the longitudinal partition (5).</p> |
