The machine has a tool spindle (2) with a rotary axis, and a bearing housing (1.2) for receiving the spindle. A force sensor (5) is provided, which is arranged for detecting an operating force between the spindle and the housing, where the force acts on the tool spindle. The spindle is centrally or directly supported over the sensor against the housing. The sensor has a sensor unit in the form of a measuring bridge or a piezo unit, where the bridge is designed in thick film technique as a digital medical service (DMS) unit. |
