<p>The present invention concerns a safety shield (1) on a vehicle where the safety shield is flexible and provided along the side of the vehicle, preferably in the opening between its wheel sets, for example on a lorry or a lorry trailer. The safety shield (1) is designed with a flexible frame, where the frame consists of at least two, substantially vertically disposed frame parts (4), and at least two substantially horizontal frame parts (3, 5), where the at least two vertical frame parts (4) are each connected with at least one spring element (6), and where a membrane or canvas is fixed to the frame. In that the vertical frame parts are connected with at least one spring element, it is achieved that the free end of the frame part can be moved in practically any direction, so that if the vertical frame part strikes the roadway or other solid obstacle, the vertical frame part moves and the obstacle may be passed without any damage occurring to the safety shield.</p> |
