<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy wiring work by eliminating the need to prepare a signal line for an exclusive use when actuating an electric valve in an electric water heater based on a detection signal of a temperature detection means built in a time switch. <P>SOLUTION: The electric water heater system consisting of the electric water heater and the time switch provided for a current carrying line to the electric water heater which includes a hot water temperature control part for controlling an electric heater to heat hot water to a predetermined temperature and a water discharge control part for opening and closing the electric valve for opening and closing a hot water supply passage for discharging the hot water from a hot water tank. The time switch includes a heater switch part for switching on/off current application to the hot water temperature control part based on output from the timer part and a valve switch part for switching on/off current application to the water discharge control part based on a detection signal from the temperature detection means for detecting atmosphere temperature of its neighborhood. The water discharge control part of the electric water heater opens the electric valve for a certain period of time if it detects that current application from the valve switch part is switched from off to on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
