<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a porous material used for an optical use such as a reflection-preventing sheet, etc., e.g. the material having almost uniform pores having ≤1 μm pore size. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the porous material comprises a first process of mixing a curable resin material with an additive different from the curable resin material, compatible with the curable resin material, being made as insoluble to the cured material obtained by curing the curable resin material, and having ≤500 weight-average molecular weight and also ≤350°C boiling point to prepare coating liquid, a second process of applying the coating liquid to form a coated membrane, a third process of performing a curing treatment on the coated membrane to cure the curable resin material for insolubilizing the additive so as to form a cured membrane having a micro phase-separated structure by dispersing the insolubilized additive non-continuously in the cured material and a fourth process of removing the insolubilized additive from the cured coated membrane by heating to form pores. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
