PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To oscillate a high-output laser beam while holding a single polarized wave without using a polarizer. SOLUTION: An optical fiber laser 1 is composed so as to oscillate a single polarized-wave laser beam of an equalized reflected-wavelength, by equalizing either of two reflected-wavelengths formed by a polarized-wave holding optical fiber 4 to either of two reflected-wavelengths formed by a polarized-wave holding optical fiber 6, after connecting the polarized-wave holding optical fibers 4, 6, in which each of FBGs 4a, 6a is formed, respectively to both ends of a rare-earth doped optical fiber 5. In this case, the polarized-wave holding optical fibers 4, 6 are fusedly connected to the rare-earth doped optical fiber 5 so as to have a position relation in which mutual Slow axes and Fast axes are in parallel with each other.
