PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store waste toner of sufficient quantity while reducing the vertical dimension of a laser printer. SOLUTION: Waste toner in a storing space 106 is compressed by a waster toner compressing pump mechanism 110. Consequently, even when a portion ranging from an inlet part 107 of a waste toner storing part 105 out of a bottom wall part 109 of the waste toner storing part 105 is constituted so as to be approximately horizontally extendable, that is, the storing space 106 is formed so as to be horizontally expandable, the waste toner of sufficient quantity can be stored in the waste toner storing part 105, so that the vertical dimension of the laser printer can be reduced and waste toner of sufficient quantity can be stored.
