PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a gas hydrate dispensing with a stirrer of a generator and making a gas hydration rate of a product constant. SOLUTION: A shell-and-tube type generator 2 is provided at the downstream side of an ejector type mixer 1 which agitates a raw gas(g) and raw water (w). Retention walls 41-43 letting gas hydrate slurry s U-turn are provided in end covers 37, 38 disposed at the both front and back ends of the generator 2. Further, a dehydrator 3 having a cone shaped filter 48 is provided at the downstream side of the generator 2.
