PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a profile long molded object, which shapes a long thermoplastic resin sheet uniaxially stretched in its length direction without cracking and shrinking the sheet in its stretching direction. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of the profile long molded object wherein only the deforming position of the long thermoplastic resin sheet is heated so as to be made deformable uniaxially stretched in its length direction is heated so as to be made deformable and the heated thermoplastic resin sheet is passed through the slits of a plurality of plates having slits having a predetermined shape formed thereto to be shaped, the slit shape of each of the plates is gradually formed into the cross-sectional shape of the profile long molded object from a planar shape as the slit shape of the plate goes in a downstream direction from an upstream region.
