MARKING DEVICE AND MARKING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform marking of an installation position on an installation surface for installing a predetermined installation. SOLUTION: This marking device includes: a stamp 56 abutted on the installation surface 16 to put a mark on the installation surface 16; a point laser having an optical axis aligned with the axis of the stamp 56 and projecting a current position of the stamp 56 on the installation surface 16; an XY arm 44 for changing the current position of the stamp 56 projected on the installation surface 16 by moving the stamp 56 with the point laser 52; a camera 60 photographing the installation surface 16; and a control device 26 for conducting the control to obtain a difference between the installed position in a photographed image of the camera 60 and the current position of the stamp 56, moving the stamp 56 with the point laser 52 by a distance corresponding to the difference by the XY arm 44, and putting a mark on the installation position P on the installation surface 16 by the stamp 56 in such a state that the installation position in the photographed image coincides with the current position of the stamp 56.
