PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire having an improved slow snow accretion effect by solving the problem, where the electric wire itself is rotated by a snowfall and snow accretes on the electric wire cylindrically, which has been the problem of conventional slow snow accretion electric wire, such as an electric wire to which a slow snow accretion ring is mounted and an electric wire in which a water-repellent paint is applied onto the surface of the electric wire, and by solving the problem, where the surface of the electric wire is contaminated by a long-term use and the slow snow accretion effect decreases. SOLUTION: The slow snow accretion electric wire is composed, where the wire has an inorganic layer formed on the outermost layer by applying and drying an inorganic colloidal dispersion.
