PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in the conventional memory access monitoring device which is based on the premise that it detects access violation to signals from a CPU, it is not possible to detect an unauthorized access to the memory access from a DMA controller that operates independently of a CPU. SOLUTION: A system level control circuit for controlling a system level of a CPU and the whole system is provided for controlling the memory access by hardware. A setting detection circuit for detecting an address space which is not allowed to be accessed is provided to a DMA controller, preventing an unauthorized memory access from the DMA controller.
