PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable which is an extrusion molding body of olefin resin excellent in high slippage, abrasion resistance and fire resistance. SOLUTION: By adding talc 11 with a crystal diameter of 3 to 10μm to olefin resin and forming an olefin resin mixture to which the talc 11 is added by extrusion molding, the talc 11 is induced to the surface side of the olefin resin which is base resin during the extrusion molding and arrayed like scales on the surface of a cable jacket 1, so that surface hardness is increased and high slippage (low friction) and abrasion resistance can be improved by the talc 11 covering the surface like scales.
