PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a delivery flow rate and compression efficiency of a compressed fluid, by minimizing a clearance between a lap part of a fixed scroll and a lap part of a turning scroll. SOLUTION: The fixed scroll 3 is installed in a casing 1, and the turning scroll 12 is turnably installed in a state of it being opposed to the fixed scroll 3. A rotation preventive mechanism 21 by ball guides 22 and 23 and a ball 24, is arranged between the casing 1 and the turning scroll 12. A turning radius S1 determined by the rotation preventive mechanism 21 is set larger than a turning radius S2 determined by the lap parts 3B and 12B of the respective scrolls 3 and 12 (S1>S2).
