PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite segment which is small in steel usage, low in cost, thin in thickness, high in strength, and can have a wider width. SOLUTION: The composite segment 1 has a steel shell 2 formed of: a pair of first steel members 10, 10 which are almost arcuately curved and arranged along mutually opposed two edges of an external peripheral surface; a pair of second steel members 13, 13 which are almost arcuately curved and arranged along mutually opposed two edges of an internal peripheral surface; a first intermediate steel member 17 which is almost arcuately curved and arranged between the pairing first steel members 10, 10; and a second intermediate steel member 18 which is almost arcuately curved and arranged between the pairing second steel members 13, 13. Herein the first intermediate steel member 17 and the second intermediate steel member 18 are opposed to each other and connected to each other by a lattice (connection member) 19.
