PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide fiber suitable for a woven polyamide fabric free from the generation of rope wrinkle in the case of being died by a jet-dyeing machine and provide a woven polyamide fabric having a texture suitable as a nylon taffeta. SOLUTION: The polyamide fiber for a woven fabric to be dyed by a jet-dyeing machine has a crimp recovery (CR) of 3-15%, a crimp developing elongation ratio (TR) of 0.5-10%, a deformation degree of the cross-section of 0.5-1, and a number of interlacing of 2-80.
