<p>Method for shaping a material of reticular structure, installation for implementing the method and reticular material resulting from the method. This method is for application to the handling of a tubular reticular structure, especially one obtained by means of the extrusion of a synthetic plastic material, in which its filaments, which form the sides of the lattices of the reticule, are thicker at the points of intersection than the actual thickness of the filaments. This method consists in the synthetic plastic material of tubular reticular structure being subjected, in the hot condition and in its flattened tubular configuration, to operations of two-dimensional molecular orientation by means of drawing, which is followed by an operation of evening out the thicknesses of the tubular reticular structure by its being rolled using a calender.</p> |
