METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR RETRANSMITTING CONTENTS IN PTS OF DLNA NETWORK

A method and a system for re-transmitting contents in a PTS(Personal TV Service) of a DLNA(Digital Living Network Alliance) network are provided to allow each terminal to easily access when broadcast contents need to be shown to many people or to be consulted by many people by sharing a PTS without an authentication. A controller checks whether a PTS is requested(301). When the PTS is requested, the controller searches and connects a desired channel(303). The controller decodes a program signal inputted through the selected channel and allows a user to view the program(305). The controller checks whether the user requests re-transmission with respect to the channel being viewed(307). When the user requests re-transmission, the controller streams a broadcast signal for re-transmission(307). The streamed broadcast signal is stored in a memory(311). The stored broadcast signal is re-transmitted to a DMP terminal or a DMR terminal of external DLNA network devices(313).
