A test apparatus, a recording medium for recording a program, and a testing method thereof are provided to detect the error of the memory cell for the physical placement by reading the data from the other memory cell adjacent to the memory cell and applying the data to a specific memory cell. A test apparatus includes an address generating unit, a plurality of mask registers(410), a plurality of mask operation units(420), a plurality of logic operation unit(440) and a plurality of memory input bits. The address generating unit generates a physical address to be supplied to a memory block in a non-testing memory. The mask registers is installed to correspond to each memory input bit and sets whether the physical bits comprising at least one portion of the physical address is masked or not. The mask operation units are mounted on each memory input bit to mask the physical address according to the value of the mask register corresponding to the memory input bit. The logic operation units are placed at each memory input bit to output the bit data as the memory input bit. The memory input bits are outputted from the logic operation unit.
