<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for changing the channel of IPTV work in a passive optical network (PON). <P>SOLUTION: A channel change control module and a channel list module are used in the passive optical network to shorten the channel change time of an IPTV user in the passive optical network. When a passive optical network system receives an IPTV channel change request transmitted from a terminal user; the channel change control module checks the record of the channel list module and that of an authentication list module, and then updates the filter record of ONU, thus transmitting the video flow of a new channel directly in the passive optical network. The system and method of this sort are applied in the passive optical network, thus achieving the high-speed channel change of the IPTV work of the terminal user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
