<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet which has good releasing properties with a thermal transfer sheet and can make printing density high even when printing speed of thermal transfer is made higher in the thermal transfer image receiving sheet utilizing a post chelate form. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer image receiving sheet provided with a dye receiving layer comprising a metal ion-containing compound which can react with a thermal diffusing dye which can chelate on at least one face of a substrate, the dye receiving layer comprises a radiation-curable resin having dye receiving properties, and the radiation-curable resin is preferably an acryl-modified polyvinyl butyral resin with (meth)acryloyl group. Even when accompanied with speed-up of printing speed for thermal transfer, heat applied on a thermal head becomes to a higher temperature, there exists no possibility of heat fusion with the thermal transfer sheet, and transfer density of a printed article can be kept high, and the printed article excellent in such durability as heat resistance and light resistance can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
