<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a range change-over device automatically moving to an accurate range position without moving to a failsafe condition even when a manual valve changing over shift range according to a position stops at a neutral position. <P>SOLUTION: A stop detection means detects stop of the manual valve based on detection of a position sensor detecting position θms of a manual valve, in an embodiment, when velocity of a manual valve gets to predetermined velocity or less and an neutral stop determination means determines whether a position where the manual valve stops is a neutral position between range positions. If it is determined that the manual valve stops at a neural position, a torque re-distribution means rives and control a motor to output re-distribution torque Tmr higher than the maximum load torque of cogging torque of the motor by a predetermined quantity and energizes movement of the manual valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
