<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA fragment of a plasmid comprising a hyaluronic acid synthase gene transferred thereinto used for simply and economically preparing a transgenic animal which induces hyaluronic aid synthase gene expression and expressing the hyaluronic acid synthase by actions of a site-specific recombinant enzyme and to provide the transgenic animal comprising the DNA fragment transferred thereinto. <P>SOLUTION: The DNA fragment of the plasmid comprising the hyaluronic acid synthase gene transferred thereinto has a transcription initiation control base sequence, an inactive spacer base sequence sandwiched between a pair of recognition base sequences recognized with the site-specific gene recombinant enzyme and excised with the enzyme and a base sequence of the hyaluronic acid synthase gene or a trans expression induction control base sequence and the base sequence of the hyaluronic acid synthase gene are connected in the direction from the 5'-terminus to the 3'-terminus in the order mentioned.
