<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a part of the barrel wall of a PET bottle placed near the end of the bottle central axis direction of a pressure reduction absorbing panel to be prevented from being deformed due to the deformation of the panel and further restrict its trouble at its transmitting stage, or prevent the occurrence of poor outer appearance and the like. <P>SOLUTION: This cylindrical synthetic resin bottle 10 has a bottom in which a recessed-shaped pressure reduction absorbing panel 20 is formed at a barrel 11.
