PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing program and an image processing device capable of carrying out Retinex processing at high speed. SOLUTION: A peripheral average luminance image obtaining peripheral average luminance on each pixel of a reduced image is obtained. This processing is computed by carrying out convolution of a coefficient of a filer prepared using a Gaussian function, and the values of peripheral pixels. The filter coefficient is expressed by F(x, y), and the convolution is expressed by F(x, y)*I(x, y). A reduced Retinex image is then formed of the peripheral average luminance image formed by the convolution, and the reduced image obtained by reducing an original image. The thus formed reduced Retinex image is enlarged and normalized to form an output image using the value of the original image. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
