PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape type disposable paper diaper dispensing with a target tape covering an abdomen side surface across a wide range, being scarcely deviated by the movement of the body and facilitating the size fitting. SOLUTION: This disposable paper diaper is so constituted that base ends of fastening tapes 5 are connected to the both sides of a back side; tip sides of the fastening tapes 5 are provided with first joining parts 9 composed of hook tape; the base end sides of the fastening tapes are provided with second joining parts 6 composed of female tape where the hook tapes of the first joining parts 9 are hooked; the both sides of the abdomen are provided with slits 10 for inserting the fastening tapes 5 respectively, and after the insertion, the first joining parts 9 of the fastening tapes 5 are folded and joined with the second joining parts 6 to be worn around the body.
