ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic electroluminescent element in which injection efficiency of holes is improved by increasing work function of an anode, low voltage of element drive voltage is enabled, and life characteristics and stability of chromaticity at the time of continuous drive can be improved and resistivity increase is suppressed as much as possible. SOLUTION: This is the manufacturing method of the organic electroluminescent element in which an organic luminous layer 3 giving emission of light is provided between an anode 6 and a cathode 1. A surface treatment by which the work function of the surface of the anode 6 is increased by 0.5 eV or more is carried out by exposing to a steam of solution of acid, after the surface of the anode 6 is cleaning treated so that the contact angle of the surface of the anode 6 to water may be 10°or less.
