PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel that improves radiation efficiency by improving the front-panel structure. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel includes a substrate (211) having a plurality of substrate recesses (217a, 217b) formed having predetermined spaces, a plurality of electrodes (212, 213) disposed between the substrate recesses (217a, 217b), and a dielectric layer (214) formed on top of the plurality of electrodes (212, 213) and the substrate (211).
