摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal a self-luminous part formed on a panel substrate, with high accuracy by a simple process, to prevent a connection failure and a display failure caused by formation of an adhesive layer on lead-out wiring and to carry out high accuracy sealing at a time to a plurality of self-luminous parts formed on the panel substrate in the case of performing multi-piece production, thereby shortening a manufacturing time and reducing a quality failure in a dividing process or an unnecessary part removing process. SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing an optical device comprises a self-luminous part forming process for forming the plurality of self-luminous parts 101 on the panel substrate 2; a hardening process for carrying out hardening processing to a part of an adhesive layer 82 formed in sheet shape beforehand or the adhesive layer 82 formed in a film on a sealing substrate 81; a sealing process for sealing the self-luminous parts 101 with the panel substrate 2 and the sealing substrate 81 after the hardening process; and a dividing process for dividing the panel substrate 2 into a plurality of parts after the sealing process to form the optical device.
