PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for capable of producing interleukin 12 industrially in a large amount. SOLUTION: This method for producing the interleukin 12 is characterized by treating the body fluid of silk worm larva infected with recombinant nucleic polyhedrosis virus obtained by recombining the DNA of the nucleic polyhedrosis virus with a DNA encoding a protein of the interleukin 12, under an acidic condition.
