PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque detector capable of satisfying a request of shortening an axial length, while detecting the rotation angle of a rotary shaft, together with the rotational torque applied to the rotary shaft. SOLUTION: This torque detector is juxtaposed with a rotation angle detecting part 6, provided with a large-diametric internal gear 60 provided at the periphery of an extended part of a holding cylinder 32, small-diameter external gears 61, 62 meshed with the internal gear 60, and magnetic sensors 65, 66 for detecting the rotation angles thereof, on one side of a torque-detecting part 1, provided with yaw rings 3, 3 as rotating members fixed to the second shaft 1b as the rotary shaft via the resin holding cylinder 32.
