PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable chemical oxygen demand (COD) measuring system, and a photoreactor used therein. SOLUTION: A light source for photoreaction is driven by a portable DC power source in the photoreactor equipped with a photoreaction container filled with a photocatalyst and the light source for photoreaction. The portable COD measuring system using the photoreactor, capable of being driven by a battery, easy to transport because small-sized and lightweight and based on a flow injection analyzing (FIA) method is provided.
