PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor wherein problems, such as poor appearance, can be solved and proper soldering can be performed, by reducing the area differences of an anode exposed part and individual exposed parts, and the area differences of lands corresponding to them, in the solid electrolytic capacitor which is provided with a capacitor element, in which a dielectric film layer and a cathode layer are sequentially formed in a surface of an anode body in which an anode lead member is planted in one end surface; an anode terminal which is connected to the anode lead member; a flat cathode terminal in which the capacitor element is laid and which is connected to the cathode layer; and an exterior resin which covers the capacitor element, and in which a part of the cathode terminal and a part of the anode terminal are exposed from the exterior resin in the same plane.
