PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for measuring blood viscosity and thrombus formability, based on internal mechanisms, with satisfactory reproducibility, in a short time, and at low cost, and measuring the blood viscosity and thrombus formability, at the same time, and to provide a measuring method using this instrument for blood viscosity and a thrombus formation amount. SOLUTION: This instrument comprises a blood holding container with a capillary connected to its opening part, a pressurizer for discharging blood in the holding container through the capillary at a constant flow rate, and a detector detecting blood viscosity and a thrombus formation amount.
