PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal fan for reducing dust intruding in a coil part of a motor and a control board, by restraining manufacturing cost with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This centrifugal fan 10 has a casing 12, a freely rotatable impeller 20 installed in this casing 12, the motor 30 for driving this impeller 20, the control board 40 controlling this motor 30, and a delivery port 10b for cooling air, and is constituted so that a dustproof projection part 14 for preventing intrusion of the dust in the motor 30 and the control board 40 from the delivery port 10b, is formed in the casing 12. In this case, the dustproof projection part 14 is arranged in a circular arc shape along the outer periphery of this impeller 20 in a clearance between a side wall inner peripheral surface of the casing 12 and the outer periphery of the impeller 20. When a central angle of this circular arc shape 14 is desirably set to about 45°, the dusproof effect is further improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
