USE OF IRON ALLOY-BASED COMPONENTS FOR PRODUCING FUEL CELLS, AND SUBSTANCES USED THEREFOR
摘要
Disclosed are the use of iron alloy-based components such as Fe-based bipolar plates for producing fuel cells as well as pickle liquor used for the production thereof. The surfaces of the components are treated with pickle liquor to remove and/or reduce the oxide layers typically occurring on steel and/or prevent said oxide layers from forming. A suitable pickle liquor is characterized in that the same is composed of 120 ml of H2SO4 (96 percent); 40 ml of HCl (32 percent), 60 ml of HF (40 percent), and 780 ml of water.
