The invention relates to a device for influencing the displacement of a displaceable furniture part (4 - 14) which can be driven in a displaceable manner by means of a drive unit with the aid of a control unit for controlling the displacement of the displaceable furniture part in relation to a fixed furniture part (2). According to the invention, the control unit can be operated in a working mode and in a configuration mode. The control unit is configured to attain a configuration mode with the aid of peripheral devices, in which the device can be configured. The invention also relates to furniture (1) comprising said type of device.
