The system has a polarization beam splitter (PBS) module (2) with three PBSs (21, 22, 23) that are arranged over respective reflective mirrors, and an image display module (3) with panels. The panels are arranged for receiving light rays of different colors and for reflecting the received light rays by the PBSs to generate image-light rays of different colors. A light combination module (1) is assembled with the PBSs for receiving and projecting the image-light rays.
