The display system includes a display unit for displaying an image, a support stand for supporting the display unit, a power source unit for supplying power to the display unit, an approaching detection unit that is formed on the support stand to detect an approach of an object, and a control unit for controlling the power source unit by recognizing a predetermined command corresponding to a detection signal from the approaching detection unit.
