<p>A composite resin, a coating composition comprising the same and a coated article manufactured by using the same are provided to show excellent scratch resistance, low refractive index property and anti-reflection property. A composite resin is an integrated hydrolysate/condensate of (1) porous and/or hollow inorganic oxide microparticles(A) and (2) organosilicon compounds containing a bis-silane compound of the formula (B): X_nR_3-nSi-Y-SiR_3-nX_n, wherein Y is a divalent organic group which may be substituted with a fluorine atom or a divalent organic group which may contain an aromatic ring, R is a monovalent organic group, X is OH group or a hydrolyzable group, and n is 1, 2, or 3. The composite resin is obtained by hydrolysis/condensation of (2) the organosilicon compounds containing a bis-silane compound (B) in the presence of (1) the porous and/or hollow inorganic oxide microparticles (A).</p> |
