<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert a TTS in which a time stamp and a PCR are not synchronized with each other such as a TTS received trough a network into a TTS which can be reproduced by using a single clock oscillator. <P>SOLUTION: A time stamp synchronization part 12 rewrites a time stamp applied to a TS packet in an input TTS to a value synchronized with a PCR in the previous TTS, and provides the synchronized TTS. Counters 14 and 16 count clocks to be generated by an STC generation part 15. A time stamp synchronization transferring part 13 outputs the TS packet in the synchronized TTS based on the rewritten time stamp and the count value of the counter 14. This TS packet is supplied through a demultiplex part to decode parts 19 and 20, and decoded based on a timing based on the value of the counter 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
