PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify crimping work of a fixation ring, in a coaxial cable connector that is structured such that a connector body is mounted to a tip of a coaxial cable, and thereafter the coaxial cable is crimped and fixed to the connector body through a fixation ring. SOLUTION: This coaxial cable connector comprises: a connector body comprising an insertion part insertable inside a braided conductor of a coaxial cable, a flange part formed around the insertion part, and a connection means rotatably arranged on the side opposite to the coaxial cable side of the insertion part; and the fixation ring for crimping and fixing the coaxial cable to the connector body after inserting the insertion part of the connector body into the coaxial cable. The fixation ring is provided with: a crimp part crimped around the coaxial cable on one end side in the center axis direction; a fixation part formed to allow the flange part to be inserted and fixed therein by forming the other end side in the center axis direction in a large diameter relative to the crimp part; and a cutout part for separating the crimp part from the fixation part. The cutout part is formed from the outer periphery on one side to a position where it is set at a size between the plate thickness of the fixation ring and twice of the plate thickness thereof toward the radial inside from the outer periphery on the other side facing to it. A connection part excluding the cutout part is formed in a small thickness, and the crimp part and the fixation part are separated from each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
