PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damages on a trace due to a recess processed surface. SOLUTION: An HDD1 has a recess 142a formed on the side of an actuator arm 148a, and a trace 122a mounting a transmission line connected to the head slider is partly inserted into the recess 142a. The transmission line 222 of the trace 122a passes the outside of the recess 142a. Thus, the trace 122a is partly held in the recess 142a, so that its own vibration is suppressed from impeding head positioning and the recess surfaces is prevented from damaging the transmission line 222 and the insulation layers around it.
