PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for pre-processing to dynamically detach an image display device from a computer system while a power for the computer system is on. SOLUTION: The method of pre-processing comprises steps of: (a) receiving an address for the image display device based on a command when the command for dynamically detaching the image display device is received at the computer system; (b) sending a notice to a driver module for the image display device to release system resources for the computer system assigned to the image display device; and (c) setting a step for noticing the operating system of the computer system so as to inquire the driver module for the current state of the image display device in order to receive a response from the driver module, which shows that the image display device is in a state of unused.
